Information about your visit to the Natural Dermatology Clinic

What do I need to bring with me?

Details of all medications you are taking or have taken in the recent past either for your skin or for any other condition you may have.
This should include prescriptions from your doctor or other specialist, any alternative or herbal remedies and anything you have bought over the counter.

What if I need to change my appointment?

If it is your first appointment within dermatology, please call 48-hour before your appointment 020 7467 1539.

If you need to change or cancel a follow-up appointment, please call 020 7467 1539.

What will happen in the clinic?

Your first appointment may take up to an hour. We make every effort to see you on time, but delays may occur so please allow plenty of time.  Please be on time.

Claudia Louch will take a full history and conduct an examination. In order to properly assess your skin problem, you may be asked to undress so that all your skin,
not necessarily just the area(s) affected, can be examined.  It may be necessary to do additional investigations including blood tests and/or skin sampling and.
In these circumstances you will be provided with further detailed information.

You may be asked to remove your make-up prior the consultation, hence it may be useful to bring your make-up with you for re-application after the consultation.

The person you see will always be Claudia Louch; a generic pre-assessment may be executed by Claudia Louch's Clinic Assistant, Miss Youna Kim, before seeing Claudia Louch.
Miss Kim is a postgraduate Human Nutritionist and trained to monitor patient's Anthropometrics.
Miss Kim may ask you for a urine sample and/or perform anthropometric measurements, as well as record the site of your lesions.
This does not affect the quality of your treatment, but provides an additional service to you.

If you have any objection to this please speak to Claudia Louch's Team (Miss Jenny Ross or Miss Lucy Whittington), who are in charge of the day to day running of the clinic. This will not affect your care in any way.

What happens after my consultation?

Claudia Louch will discuss with you your treatment requirement. Our natural plant based medicines will only be dispensed from our own in-house natural pharmacy.
As our pharmacy customizes each treatment formulation individually for each patient, it will not be ready on the day of your visit, but either mailed to you or be ready for collection as agreed with Claudia Louch.

*Please note there is no wheelchair access to the 4th floor.
